    Google pages not opening!?

      Hello guys!

      I've been running Opera Dev ever since the branch went public without any major issues. Lately, and for the last few dev versions, I'm running into a frustrating problem at work (only).

      Google-related pages have problems loading. Sometimes google.com won't even open at all (times out), YouTube seems the hardest hit, Analytics is a hit-and-miss etc. All other pages open correctly, and all problematic pages open fine in other browsers.

      Our IT guy hasn't managed to find the root cause.

      I'm a local admin if it has any relevance.

      Can anyone suggest anything to check?

        Google pages open fine here. Check extensions, clean cookies and cache. If needed, try a clean profile folder.

          Also, forgot to add - especially in Play Store but also sometimes in log-on pages some elements are missing. Gmail seems to be loading fine every time, though.

            Try disabling ad-blocker for those pages.

              I'm running Opera on multiple computers, mostly with the same extensions. However, I just tried disabling them all one by one or two by two and same thing keeps happening... Cache and cookies have been cleaned multiple times.

              Understandably, I'm weary of trying a clean profile - or can I back up and re-import my current one?

                The best thing to do os to disable all of them, restart Opera and check if the issue still happens. If it does, then enable one extension at a time to see which one is the one to blame.

                You can keep tour data and then copy it to the new profile folder afterwards. However, if the problem is being caused by a broken profile, it may bring the issue back.
