A feature I use on my primary browser Firefox, and Chrome as well:
the ability to select what data to destroy on quit, like cookies, sessions, cache files, download history.

I think it greatly improves privacy online and on your computer.

I got a Chrome extension called Cleanup Data that gives me a choice of what to clear out (but only in the options). I do not need to change the items every time I clear data, but the button is handy on the toolbar.

          1. Does Opera support Chrome extensions?
          2. I would prefer to see this built-in. Important enough to be core, imo.

            1. You can use some Chrome extensions in Opera. You need the extension "Download Chrome Extension" to install them.
            2. You can control what data to clear to some degree. In the Opera menu on MacOS, you can choose "Clear Browsing Data", which opens the Preferences and opens a dialog box with a list of items that can be cleared. I have no idea where that choice would be in another operating system.

Thanks for the reply, but this seems like an impractical way, and doesn't stimulate privacy with users.

In Firefox, you can set every individual aspect to clear on quit, big privacy win.
I think it should be core.

There is a list of checkboxes in the "Clear Browsing Data" dialog to choose what to clear.

Two xtra clicks using Bookmarks bar and opera://settings/clearBrowserData, then close the browser or using cCleaner (not sure if pro version) autocleans browser data once closed.

There is no such thing as privacy. 馃檪 From the moment you do something, there will always be a chance that someone will know about it.

Anyway, you can use the private window so nothing will be recorded.
