I don't know what happened but without deleting anything some days ago I could see my synchronized devices tabs without problems and know, suddenly, I only can see the speed dial of this device but no the tabs. They have disappeared suddenly. What happens with opera sync? it doesn't run well? I didn't do anything!!

I have lost all my sync tabs of this device without doing anything? the speed dial appear but the tabs have disappeared. Why?

Did you try to logout and login again?

There are tabs opened on the other device?

sorry for my English but I'm not a newbie. What I mean is:

1. I've used opera sync to make a backup of my tabs in my old smartphone (Three weeks ago I made a factory reset and the smartphone is in a drawer).
2. The speed dial's old device is working and appears without problem in opera sync.
3. The tabs from old device are missing since two days ago. I didn't change or have deleted anything.
4. Off course I'm logged in opera sync.

What happened? Why the tabs are missing? what happened? It must be an error from Opera sync. I didn't change anything. Any help? or I lost everything?

You know that no sync service should be used to do backups, right?

So that device is running and Opera is opened with tabs opened in it? The device is connected to the internet?

I did a "backup" of tabs... I couldn't think about that the opera sync could fail...
I tried it.
The old device is formatted since three weeks. I didn't use it again.
Until the day before yesterday I could see the tabs and speed dial of the old device in my new one. since the day before yesterday I only can see the speed dial of the old device in my new one, the tabs of the old device have disappeared. Why the speed dial works and not the tabs?

It should have removed the tabs from Sync as soon as they ceased to exist. So you being able to see the tabs for so long even after they longer exist was the problem.

but opera sync doesn't know what happened with the device. I mean, it could simply be that the device had not internet connection since a couple of weeks. or?

Because the Speed Dials as well as bookmarks are kept until you remove them, something that doesn't happen with opened tabs.

it could simply be that the device had not internet connection since a couple of weeks. or?

I think it would be enough for Sync to consider that there aren't any opened tabs.

Hi, I have a similar issue. I use Opera with the same Opera account on Windows, Mac & Android.
From my Mac browser I can see open tabs on Windows and vice versa, but can't see the Android tabs, neither from Android can see either of the laptops tabs. This has been happening to my from quite long ago, with different Android devices, what's going on?
Shall I file a bug report?
