needlenthread.com site updated to use HTTPS; old HTTP bookmarks automatically updated to HTTPS even if typed in; error appears:
Secure connection: fatal error (40)

Are you using the very latest (last?) version of Opera 12, which is 12.18 (build 1872)?
The update to 12.18 was specifically to address security issues like this.
