Forum Notifications arrives duplicated to the eMail

Hi,
Haven't found any post related, but anyone use it¿? :o

I receive all notifications duplicated enabling:

• Profile > Edit Preferences > Notify me when people comment on a discussion

Being even the only option enabled.

Also in your user?

Do you mean that you get two actual notification eMails for each eMailed notification event? Or do you mean that enabling it causes an eMail notification to be issued as well as the usual pop-up notification in the lower corner? I've not seen the first interpretation occur here, but the second interpretation is normal if you've enabled the notification you've described.

Right.
I receive 2 emails for the same notification.

Pop ups have it's own setting.

But if works well for you... :| :sherlock:

Any chances that they may be triggering more than one notification event?

I've unchecked all eMail options except Notify me when people comment on a discussion and the problem it's still there.
Now I have Notify me when people comment on a discussion and Notify me when people start new discussions.

The other options just as Popup.
At the firs time I thought it was because the discussion were starred too but after modify the settings they still arrives duplicated.

I guess no one uses email notifications.

I don't have 'Notify me when people start new discussions'and 'Notify me when people comment on a discussion' enabled and I don't get duplicated notifications so I guess the problem may be related to them.

Can you confirm the duplicate emails at mail.google.com? Or, do they only happen in your mail client (which looks like M2)?

The last Screen capture it's from Gmail.

 

In M2 I've seen the delay between them it's 28secs.

Not seeing any problem here.
I have the settings set to only send me e-mail notifications if someone adds something to one of my starred threads.
That has always seemed to work fine.

Yes, that option works well, is the one that had activated at the beginning, is the 'Notice of response to any post' that works poorly.
