Multiple lines of tabs?

Opera 12 used to have the ability to extend the tabbar over multiple lines when a high number of tabs was opened. I found this preferable to just squeezing the tabs together ever more, until a point it's impossible to know what website the tab refers to.

Is this possible with the current Opera (or Opera next) version?

sigh I am not really happy with the direction Opera is taking...

They said they are/were working on better tabs handling, so something interesting regarding tabs may come in the future.
