Automatic/periodic refresh

I would like to ask for periodic/automatic refresh of a page.
This feature used to exist in old versions of Opera and was great help in overseeing forums with multiple topics and other pages that require periodic refresh.
This would save many of us from having to hit the refresh button every 5-10 minutes to see if there is any update to certain pages.

Is there an extension that would do this? I know it can be done with javascript.

It seemed useful.

Till the moment I realised the simple fact that if there is no one to check there is no point in refreshing, and if there is, it's no labour to stroke a button.

It was useful. Imagine slow forum page (slow to refresh) with moderate traffic - it was very nice to have it on background always fresh, enough to switch tabs.

Mark the thread on the upper rigth side (Opera forums) or do an Opera AddOns search ...
