Going back to a webpage reveals link underlines but no text!

Using Opera 31 on my Vista PC I have noticed for the past week or more that if I am at a page that has numberous links and click on one it properly sends me to the intended page. Then when I return to the original page that had all the links virtually no text shows and there are just the underlines showing where the links were.
Has anyone else had this happen and is there a fix?
Thanks -

Is it really the case that no one else has had that occur. I find the biggest culprit to be ESPN. If I am reading one of the Insider blogs and then go back to the page that has links to other articles pretty much all of the text is gone and I see a page of underlines.
Would love to know what is causing the problem and whether there is a way to keep it from happening. -

I just started using OPERA and am having the exact same problem as dr4sight. The only difference may be that I only get it after I've returned to my start page a few times. The problem then pops up and will come and go as I hit the go back a page button. To get around it I go back to the Speed Dial page where I have my news bookmark set up.

Not that precisely, but ... Do you have a font named Blank installed on your system? Opera has been known in prior versions to select that font and then no text is visible.
I checked and do not have a font named Blank. Thanks for the thought however.

People have also been talking about some Direct Write...
(Or that was about something else - like blurred fonts)
