Any way to get undelete deleted speed dial entries?

Hello.
For the past few months I've noticed that whenever I add a site to my bookmarks, it gets added to the Speed Dial as well. Last week, I decided to clean up my Speed Dial and removed all entries that I did not want on the Speed Dial. But now... those entries are also gone from my bookmarks! Ouch. That was unexpected. So... I conclude that in the post-Opera 12 versions of Opera the Speed Dial is not separate from the bookmarks but is actually a special kind of bookmarks folder.
Is there any sort of backup somewhere that would still have these entries, so that I could restore them? I have not cleared any caches since I deleted the Speed Dial items.
Thanks! -

I tried "Stu’s Opera Settings Import and Export Tool" as recommended in June 2016 at https://www.quora.com/How-do-I-export-the-browsing-history-in-Opera, but it's "history.dat" file is empty.
I then used Voidtools's Search tool to find a file named "History" in C:\Users\MYNAME\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Stable, and then I used SQLite Export (here: http://www.speqmath.com/tutorials/sqlite_export/) to convert that to a TXT file. I just don't know how to interpret the "last_visit_time" column.

I see that there is a file called C:\Users\MYNAME\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Stable\Bookmarks.bak, but it's content is virtually identical to that of Bookmarks (execpt for a few date changes).

Yep, since a while Speed Dial is part of bookmarks.

Did you look at bookmarks manager's trash?
