I had the same experience this morning, downgrading to 41.0.2353.69. I hope this gets patched.

Opera 42.0.2393.85 crashes on 32-bit & 64-bit Ubuntu 16.04 LTS but no problem on 32-bit Ubuntu 14.04 LTS .

Same problem since the update on Dec 14, Opera 42.0.2393.85 crashes on 32-bit ubuntu 12.04LTS. Hoped it would be fixed by now In meantime how do I downgrade to 41.0.2353.69 ?

Running latest version on windows 7 64k' it works, but is very sluggish. if I was to rate this version, I would have to rate it a 3 compared to the lat version, a 10.

Yes thanks sc44. Are opera aware of this bug?
Also I read, on opera help pages I think, that the latest versions are only for 64 bit systems - hope that's wrong!

Opera 42.0.2393.94-1 on archlinux still crashes when trying to download attachments from mail.yandex.com. Other sites seem to be working fine with opera.

Things seems to be OK now on yandex. There was a notification of a blocked pop-up. Enabled pop-ups. Downloads all OK now.
