So not all, but It is the majority of media types. Here are some examples of stuff that will not load any more:
      *Instagram Videos
      *Twitter feed videos.
*Youtube is being forced into Flash Mode.
      *Periscope.
Basically any modern video player and some images.
      Would appreciate some help, thanks.

What's your OS and version of Opera?

Can you play this video in Opera?

          Windows 10 Home, Opera 41.0.2353.56.
No I can't play that video, that's exactly the kind of thing that will not play. It appears black, and after an attempt to begin the play bar greys out: http://imgur.com/a/GGvAU

Opera relies on the OS to play some proprietary files/codecs. If your OS can't play them natively, Opera will not be able to play those codecs/files too.

While trying to play the video, go to opera://media-internals/ , click on the correspondent entry and check for any error messages.

It defiantly isn't windows. Other Browsers still work and Opera did until the last update. Here's a screen shot of the log: http://imgur.com/a/0Tgel

                  Other Browsers still work

Other browsers may use their own libraries.

Opera did until the last update

                  Any Windows update meanwhile?

Hardware acceleration seems to be disabled and it can be the cause of the problem.

Take a look at 'Problems detected' and also on the bottom of the page.
