disable imbedded videos

imbedded videos are bugging my browing experience. when reading the NYTIMES or slate, scroll over a imbedded video and it starts playing with sound. I did not ask for that and it annoys me. I'm reading the news, If I wanted video, I'd own a TV( don't).

Other browsers, I'm told have a setup to disable these videos. Is there such a feature in Opera?

If not, get one.

If they are flash based videos, you can enable click to play for plugins in settings.
You can also try to use some extension.
