The more I want to Use Opera as Default, The more troubling issues I find ? Have a few Questions.

I find the forum unorganized and very un-informative. I would think if there were a set of posted basic topics (Sticky's) of "How to use and customize" would really be helpful to the new user.

I could not find any information that was useful on how to use my own 'looped video' as a background for the start page.
Also I find it is a job of its own just to use a simple image for your profile avatar, The browser wants you to use a third rate information collector to join, share and have a membership just for an avatar.
I thought I might like the browser as a light efficient way of navigating the web, but it seems its quickly turning into a Yahoo/AOL type monstrosity.
Please inform me if there is a tutorial on how to accomplish these few usually simple tasks to set this up as a decent default browser with a little customization to suit ones personal taste, or should I be looking elsewhere ?

There is a F.A.Q. Depending on what people ask more often, it's updated.

To use an image, you just go to Start Page settings > Themes, click on the + button and choose the image you want.
To use a video, I guess it should be something similar.

Also I find it is a job of its own just to use a simple image for your profile avatar

It would be more of a question for the 'Forum Feedback' forum. You can use one of the images available in the forum or you can create an account in Gravatar and use any image you want.

You change your image in your profile page.

I tried the FAQ section but it had no information on how to customize the Start page with your own image or video loop.
The only suggestion you offer is to Use the images and video's from the themes sight which how ever appealing they may be to the Author, I would rather have My own and as the files are kept in cache it should be possible.

You know that if you click on the + button,like I said, you will be able to choose any image on your computer to use as theme, right?
