Need to SHARE PROFILE on a DUAL BOOT System (with Opera 40.0.2308.62)

I'm dual-booting Win7 & 10. I have a well established Opera 40.0.2308.62 profile in Win7. I just installed the same Opera version on my Win10 partition and would like to make it use my Win7 profile - so whenever I switch O/S's, all of my tabs are still up and I continue browsing from wherever I was in the previous O/S. I was able to do this easily with Firefox by editing the "profile.ini" file in Win10 to point to the location of the Win7 profile (and changing the "IsRelative" value from 1 to 0). I can't find any equivalent *.ini file in this latest version of Opera, and can't find any startup parameters that work either (such as "--profile-directory"). How can I accomplish this goal with this latest version of Opera? Please Help!! Thanks!

The easiest way to do this would probably be to do a standalone USB install of Opera, which can then be accessed from both operating systems, as long as they can both access the drive and folder it's in of course. I did this for years with Presto Opera dual booting with Windows 98 and Windows XP.
This puts all of Opera's files in the same folder and its subfolders, so there is nothing in the Windows user folders.
Do the standalone install in Windows 7, into the same folder as the existing version, and then copy your Opera user files folder from the Windows user folder it's in at the moment, to the equivalent \Profile folder which should now be a subfolder of the folder where you installed the standalone version.
All your existing data should then still appear in the new version, and you can then safely delete the original version. It goes without saying that you should back up the original folders first in case anything goes wrong, but this should work fine.
You can then do another standalone install into the same folder using Windows 10, and you should be good to go.

DH,
Thanks very much for your suggestion. Though it might render me the desired result, it's not as simple as a simple config-file edit. Hell, I wouldn't even mind a registry edit. If I could just find the correct file, setting, or registry location to customize, I'd be happy. I've read that older versions of Opera had *.config files such as "opera6.config" or "operaprefs.ini" which handled this function, but I haven't been able to find these files in this 40.0.2308.62 version. I can't imagine that it's impossible to redirect file location pointers somehow. Would you - or anybody out there - know how this latest version of Opera handles assigning/changing the profile location? Thanks again! I really appreciate your help! -

That DID IT!! Thank you EVER so much!!
Now THAT's what I call EASY!! Please tell me; is there a list somewhere (manual?) of all optional startup parameters? (Can they be chained?) Please direct me to any helpful information source of this nature regarding this current version of Opera. Thanks again!!!
