How to recover my opera bookmarks and passwords used earlier in a laptop that crashed to a new one?

Previously I was using Opera browser in a laptop which suddenly crashed. Now when I want to restore those bookmarks and passwords into my new laptop, I am not able to have access to those bookmarks and passwords saved earlier. What can be done to restore my earlier bookmarks and passwords in the opera browser? What is the procedure? Can anybody give me proper advice on this?

Which was the version you used and which is the new one? Installed yet?
Generally, bookmarks and some settings can be transferred like 'manually' if you have the files. However, the passwords get system-encripted and cannot be transferred that way, you ought to have it synched beforehand - then it'll restore.
