My question to this platform developers: have you tried to search in the forum? Maybe I'm a bit dumb, it's my fault, so please tell me how to search in forum/subforum, by date, view by topic and not single messages, etc...
I'm sure you implemented these BASIC features and it's my fault not viewing them

How does even the forum search work? Right now it seems like it only spits out random posts when I search.

Please at least link google search when your forum search is yet so non-existent.
the basic more than one word search redirects to the overview page. ETA ?

ETA ?
There doesn't seem to be any developers working on the forum, so I wouldn't ask when it's finished, rather if it ever will be.
When I want to search on the forums I always use google and search with "site:forums.opera.com <search terms>", and it works very well.

Is it correct to state that the "Search" feature of the forum either a)Does not work, or B)Has not yet been implemented?
also, @absolutelyfreeweb: I do not understand your post. -

I used it a few days ago, and it did work, but it's very intermittent and unreliable.

I think he basically wants the forum to automatically do what I wrote about in my last post in this thread.

Do I need to use these angle brackets?
Ah, it seems you don't - just tried itAnother question though: will it work with other search engines? Like Yahoo!? DuckDuckGo? AOL Search?
