Hello there, I'm using the O37 beta which has the same build as the stable one. While the data savings show 736kB/3.1MB Opera Max shows a traffic volume of 9.3MB. What's up with that please enlighten

Max counts data usage for other apps rather than just the browser.
p
If you click on the specific app it shows the usage for it. In the case of Opera Mini for example the reported usage is almost identical, in-browser counter and Opera Max both show almost the same value. In the case of Opera Android though, the difference is chaotic as seen in the numbers I've provided, 9.3MB is usage of Opera Android only.

Nah sent data is only a very small fragment of the total it isn't that important. Anyway I 've cleaned all cache from all apps and have tried it again with a site containing only text with pictures. Loaded full and scrolled down bottom.
Opera Mini with max savings and disabled pictures states data saves of 6.9MB = 99% saved, which is what Opera Max also shows, 43KB usage.
Opera Android with disabled pictures shows 182KB/7MB. Opera Max shows though 842KB usage.
Maybe it's an Opera Max issue after all. I'll post it to the latest max post in the mobile blog and see what happens. -

2nd test with the same site, this time for both browsers the picture quality is set to Low (Mini's data savings set on high, save data on wi-fi)
Opera mini: 6.4 MB saved, 86% data saving, which means 1.1 MB received. Opera Max (Mini app): 1.1 MB. Correct.
Opera android: Received 653KB/6.9MB
Opera Max (Android app): 1.3MB. What to believe now?
