Quick find | Search Mail issue

Hello,

I post this recently but I could not find my post............ anyway ,

Please can some one have experienced this issue where when I input something in the search box but does not show in quick find.

I tried already removed both widget & put them back again but no joy.

• It's seems that the "Quick find" search field widget doesn't work in Opera's Mail Client (basically, in Mail Window context). In Mail, "quick find" widget works identically with "Search mail" widget.

• If you need a command macros to find a specified text inside the mail message, use this (an example):

Find & Insert, "Word " & Backspace

Where Word is specified text string you want to find. Do not forget to add space at the end of string.

How ( what is the command if I assign to mouse or keyboard ) to clear the "Word " ?

I feel very difficult to move the mouse pointer reaching to the tiny search box to " clear " .

I personally feel very bothersome.........

Use Clear command

Also these can be helpful:

Backspace - delete previous character

Delete - delete next character

Backspace word - delete previous word

Delete word - delete next word

It's seems that the "Quick find" search field widget doesn't work in Opera's Mail Client (basically, in Mail Window context). In Mail, "quick find" widget works identically with "Search mail" widget.

Is there way to check from toolbar.ini to see what is wrong to the "quick find " widget ?

It is a bit annoying if item does show from Search mail but does not show in quick find.

Just asking, not serious as I understand it would be diffcult to retify the problem............

Well my page is so slow changing, and I have tried everything cleanng an all still slow I might be about too go back to, my other provider
