Any Microaoft word & excel plug-in for M2 like those normal .pdf plug-ins ?

Hello,

Can I open Microsoft word & excel attachment from with-in Opera v.11 and if I need to install any plug-ins ?

So that I do not need to open the bulky Microsoft office application but read them with-in Opera

As far as I know there are not.

There was a Netscape plugin to open Office documents many years ago, made by a company called Ncompass.
I don't remember it ever working very well!
