      Hello ,

How to save few different sessions in older Opera like this and if there is any limit ?

Is it correct if I am to :

Save 1 of the session first.

Go to session folder, rename is from session.win to session1.win

And go back to Opera and save another new session

      Thank you very much.
      Edmond.

I guess you can just save a session and change its title in the save dialog.

But I don't use Opera Presto for a long time so I'm not sure if it really works this way.

You can't add a sequential number into the session name by using Opera's internal commands.

But try a "semi-automatic" method. This should simplify your task drastically.

            Here is a custom button:

Button1, "Save session button"="Save window setup,,, "Save session button", "YOUR_BUTTON_ICON" & Delay, 500 & Focus next widget & Uncheck item & Focus previous widget & Clear & Insert, "Session" + Show popup menu, "Internal Session list""

(Where is YOUR_BUTTON_ICON is the icon name.)

            How to use it:

            • First, click on the button's dropdown arrow (show internal sessions list). Look at the last number in names of saved sessions in the list (basically, look and remember what's the number of latest saved session).

            • Then click one button itself (not dropdown arrow) to Save session, type (manually) a number you want to add into session name and click OK (or press Enter).

p.s. I've answered your other threads, including old threads.

Sorry......... Why session ( opera.win ) has to be in it's own mail folder ?

I mean, why I cannot put opera.win ( or whatsoevernameis.win ) to the dropbox let my different laptops sync across ?

                Thank you very much.

                  Check the parameter opera:config#UserPrefs|WindowsStorageFile

You can, but not with Opera. Opera (browser) doesn't support such a complex file operations. For synch sessions through the cloud service and your other Opera(Presto) browsers you can use a third-party utilities and scripts.
