@leocg Vertical tabs is a core feature. This has been widely agreed upon by web developers and had been implemented into all web browsers.
Regardless of how you feel you cannot change the fact that vertical tabs has been deemed an essential and core feature of a browser.
Closing tabs has nothing to do with vertical tabs. It's about readability and accessibility but opera has made its stance clear that's those things don't matter
@Mlipka I tried using Opera Air for couple of hours, it's simply unusable, I know you have put a lot of work but but without organization tool such as tab islands it doesn't work - it can be just one color black or white, also no active tab indicator? why take away useful functions from opera one just for sake of minimalism
Cease adding frills to the reliably working setup. We are not reinventing the wheel nor replacing it with a totally improved modality. The expression of "it ain't broke, don't fix it "applies here. So leave well enough alone.
I really like to way your brain works. We're not current working on improving the workspaces, however, if we do some of your ideas might be very handy.
That is a bunch of pretty great ideas. Some of them are already at the back of our minds. I can't say if or when we will implement them, as each requires its own analysis but I will keep you posted on the forum, whenever there will be something new.
