  It's not doing it now. It wasn't the extensions and a restart didn't fix but now it's not doing it. I'll post again if I can narrow it down.

  @teligence There used to be an option under Privacy and Security, Don't know if it was removed by Opera or by Chromium.

  Up to date Windows 11 , one day I had sound the next day no sound , Windows 11 had not had any up dates , anyway I have now installed Opera GX which is working .

  @Matze64 Click on the Easy Setup icon to the right of the address bar, then either choose a theme with no sounds, or disable theme sounds.

  When i quickly click on the sites in speed dial and then switch to a different tab, and do this a few times, such an error occurs.

  The issue is probably caused by the click animation in the speed dial.
