I couldn't agree more...

I don't like the dark version and I think the light version is too light for me.. .It would be perfect if we could customize the theme's main colors

Was finally able to upload the image (but not edit the original post, so posting as a reply):

By the way, this doesn't happen on Opera GX on Mac. Although I'm not sure how much of the code they share.

My eyes are just fine and I find those thumbnails still too small. I can't believe how this big feature was ruined with a single update - or how there is still no way to change the size of them.

@leocg Maybe they could give us the classic look in Opera GX. Would be an easy solution for people like me that dont stand Opera One UI (I just had this idea). I like Opera GX but its a little bit to "gamer" for me and Opera One is a big no. Opera was such a good browser before 😞

Aha!!

I keep reading folks complaining about the splash screen, which I have NEVER seen on my Linux machines ... and I suspected it was OS specific, which you just confirmed (you state it's an .exe program doing it). And that's fine, don't want a splash screen.

But to stay on-topic, the light blue selection highlight is okay by me - it's not really intrusive.

1 - Disable VPN in settings, like before.

2 - Not new, can't be removed

3 - Not sure which one is that

4 - Part of the new modular UI, can;'t be changed

5 - Is to indicate the island, you can close on it to collapse/expand the extensions island
