@kukisgumis As said, check the OnStartup section in settings page. Also check Opera's shortcut.
GX profiles: clicking on a link opens a tab in another profile.

But again, my opera is bugging out on almost all video oriented sites
Do you ahve any issue with (some, a few like 1 on 20) ) youtube videos stating that "your browser can't plays the video"?
Or other sites where you have audio but black video?

@eljusticeiro It's been a while that browsers stopped supporting Java.

When I opened that link, the page said that Opera is not supported, so you basically need to ask the page authors to start doing it.
Youtube is consuming almost all my cpu process and I don't know why

Is hardware acceleration enabled? What is the video codec?

I know this post is kinda old, but to all those who has this issue, take in mind that opera gx has letters assigned as search engines quick access, I mean, if i look for "y something" it going to search it in yahoo, since "y" is the quick access for yahoo.. For me was difficult to see, bc I almost never needed to search anything that starts with y.
Hope it helps someone.
