Sorry for my delay in responding.
Is that what you mean?
Yes, it is.
The catch is you have to have start text and end text for the breaks to get inserted correctly.
Maybe this didn't work for me because I inserted the text I wanted to post as a whole from the clipboard, and then tried to format its paragraphs as mentioned.
I will verify this in future posts.
Thank you for your help.

@burnout426 I'll see what's different about them. Nodebb promised to make them consistent now
Heard any news on this? Do we need to contact Nodebb?
@lmormol-op said in Download Opera Banner - No 'x' + Cookie to Hide:
since today there is a possibility of hiding banner for 1 month.
It's the dl_banner cookie that controls this, right?

Looks like it only hides it for one week, not a month. (I finally decided to check this out as the banner has popped up more often than once a month.)

I use Hekasoft (any time I make a signficant change to any of my browsers' settings or data) to manually back up the relevant personal data/settings to an external hard drive.
Had to look this one up. Looks like a good program. I don't use Freefilesync as a "Syncing" backup for Opera, rather I just make a mirror backup of the 4 copies of Opera (Three of 56.xxx and one of 12.18). But with Opera's syncing capability I've never had to restore a version of 56.xxx or its predecessors. I have 12.18 (Used for email only) installed on my e: drive including the profile and when I need to "Restore" it I can just copy it or the backup to a new computer. Works great for me. I usually backup at least every other day.
The program does look interesting in that you can use it to backup all your browsers (I have IE, Edge, FF also).
Where Freefilesync shines for me is I keep everything important to me in d:\My Documents and I sync between my laptop and desktop. Works great.
On another note, I'm sending you a PM here with a weird Opera 12.18 problem.
@rif And if you have any other questions about or issues with Forum Search results, or possibly further suggestions on improving some of its features, there's already a thread on the topic: https://forums.opera.com/topic/26773/search-results
@astara said in Suggestion on moderating user posts:
I hope my giving a suggestion on how to make opera forum moderation more friendly, inviting and appreciative isn't entirely out of place, just that I felt empathy with someone having, perhaps more enthusiasm than knowledge about specific "posting requirements" and hoped that feedback on on the moderation would be take as a possible suggestion of how to moderate a user's posting behavior to greater effect and not potentially dissuade them from future postings.
So for now, get to the point here: what'll be your suggestion on user posting moderation?
Search before adding a new post or thread to see if the topic has already been covered.
Those topics violate the forum rules, once there was already https://forums.opera.com/topic/28535/opening-new-tab-with-mouse-it-s-not-select-the-address-bar-automatically-for-typing/16
I could have just locked/deleted the topic but I just merged it to the older one.
Not sure why is the font on your screenshot garbled.
It should look totally different:
That's how it renders on my (and everyone else I've surveyed) computer.
For the record, the fonts we use are (in order of preference: basis_grotesque, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif but it really does not look like problem is with the font but rather something on your end (especially since you're saying that the same problem on other pages).
Are you on a mobile device? As far as posting goes, if you have a wide enough screen you see a two-pane view with text entry on the left and preview on the right (though you can disable the preview pane), and on the right are a Discard and Submit button. On a narrow screen there's no preview, and above the formatting tools is sort of a title bar - the right-pointing arrow at the right end of the title bar is the Submit button. (I didn't pay attention to it, but I presume there must be a discard button on the left.)
You can also hide the reply field (to view something else, like a message you are replying to) by tapping the orange circle, then come back to it by tapping the circle again.
You see the three dots at the bottom of the post? You click on that and a menu appears with options such as Bookmark, Edit (if you are allowed to edit that post), etc., and Report post to moderator. Alternatively you could send any of the moderators a private message - I've had users ask me to correct typos in their posts by PM.
