It turned our the problem was Windows "Quiet hours" which was muting the notification the moment you tried to display it, meaning it never actually gets shown to the user. Turn off "Quiet hours" and the notification displays normally.
Of course this doesn't help much if you're trying to develop an extension because you can't ask the user to turn off "Quiet hours", but at least you know what was causing the problem.
It would be nice if you could use your own words in such posts and don't just do copy and paste.
Say, with your own words, what the object of your post is about, why you are mentioning it here, how do you think it could be useful and so on.
They will see ur urge at some point. Either here at forums or desktop blog.
Of course there isn't much to do if you have trouble verifying.
IF ur sue of your self perhaps easiest for u and devs is that u upload the code to a new "slot". Eventually the old will fade away and perhaps they have at some point time to remove it...
