I would really like to see a custom search engine as default, as I am running my own searx instance. This is a major drawback for me and I guess I have to switch browser eventually if this isn't changed anytime soon.

Hey bradcolbert, which of your workflows does this mess with? For me, the only problem was that the menu would pop up when I was holding down the ALT key to move or resize the Opera window. I fixed this by changing the hotkey to move windows to super in Linux Mint's Windows settings app ("Behaviour" tab).

UPDATE: my bad. The problem is fixed! Tried on various other sites, and videos play fine now. The issue on rockpapershotgun.com seems to be something else.

I’m running Ubuntu 20 and what used to happen on my screen (1080x1920) was everything was to large on Opera 68 when I enlarged the default page zoom (I posted a thread about it on here ages ago) now after the update everything is how it should be just like it has always been on other chromium based browsers

clearly you have not got ‘libffmpeg.so installed so how can you expect things to work . Go find it and install it . maybe it got coerrupted or lost somehow

Hi @wap3com, you can *download the DEB and try to force apt-get to install it with "--force-yes" switch - you should be fine.
Seems like Opera's peeps packaging it for Debian based distros should have a look at that one.

*In case you don't know: apt-get download Oper's-package-name.deb.
Alternatively you can use dpkg -i --force-all downloaded-name.deb, or use any UI based package manager like e.g. aptitude to force install it.

I tested in Opera Stable and Opera Developer on Linux Mint XFCE and pinning doesn't work there either. When left-clicking on the pin icon or anywhere on the bar the icon is on, the cursor icon turns to a hand that grabs. In other words, it's as if the icon isn't even there as far as clicking goes. Left-clicking and holding on the bar and dragging is like dragging the title bar to unmaximize the window and move it around.
