I’m running Ubuntu 20 and what used to happen on my screen (1080x1920) was everything was to large on Opera 68 when I enlarged the default page zoom (I posted a thread about it on here ages ago) now after the update everything is how it should be just like it has always been on other chromium based browsers

clearly you have not got ‘libffmpeg.so installed so how can you expect things to work . Go find it and install it . maybe it got coerrupted or lost somehow

Hi @wap3com, you can *download the DEB and try to force apt-get to install it with "--force-yes" switch - you should be fine.
Seems like Opera's peeps packaging it for Debian based distros should have a look at that one.

*In case you don't know: apt-get download Oper's-package-name.deb.
Alternatively you can use dpkg -i --force-all downloaded-name.deb, or use any UI based package manager like e.g. aptitude to force install it.

I tested in Opera Stable and Opera Developer on Linux Mint XFCE and pinning doesn't work there either. When left-clicking on the pin icon or anywhere on the bar the icon is on, the cursor icon turns to a hand that grabs. In other words, it's as if the icon isn't even there as far as clicking goes. Left-clicking and holding on the bar and dragging is like dragging the title bar to unmaximize the window and move it around.

@halvor-raknes Opera has few/some/a lot of "holes" in functionality. Why do you not want to be a little lazy using pinned tab with opened Qwant page? I use Startpage systematically this way, selecting DuckDuckGo as default.

By the way. If Opera Team wanted to open sidebar to "whatever pages you want" like Vivaldi did, your and other Opera users life'd be more efficient and pleasurable.
