SOLVED!

After tweaking various things I figured out that the problem is the Adblock Plus add-on. I'm still not sure if the change was made by Adblock, Facebook or Opera, but in any case when I disabled Adblock Plus and refreshed, the video controls were back. Just to make sure I enabled it and refreshed again, yup, video controls were gone. I tried some other Facebook videos and it was the same thing. I reported it to Adblock Plus, and will just leave the add-on disabled on FB until they get this glitch fixed.

So I took a nap this afternoon and everything was fine. When I woke up and went on Facebook, video controls are no longer displaying (pause, stop, start, volume, etc.). The videos play with no way to stop them without exiting. I tried Firefox and the videos are normal there so it's definitely an Opera issue, not a PC or Facebook issue. Any ideas?

I have made no changes to either my Facebook settings or to my Opera Browser settings. And all of a sudden today when I look at a post or comment in Facebook, I can no longer see the "reactions" of people to the post (like, laugh, anger, etc.). Instead there is a line that says something like, "23 reactions" in an unclickable field. I do not have this issue with Firefox, Edge or Chrome. Any one have any ideas?
