@rosemitch15 No problem buddy. Yeah I like Opera gx for all of its additional features especially discord and chat gpt/Aria but I don’t like the fact I have to have my browser opened when playing games to be in discord calls with my buddies so I went back to chrome for now. If they can make it where you can use discord but close out of the browser than I would probably come back. The themes and shaders are a nice touch as well but straining.
@snowyzyw I just had this same problem where only when I opened the browser It took abnormally long. Then everything else loaded fine after the browser finally opened. If your browser is sluggish even after you get It opened than this might not be the fix for you but for me this is what I did and it worked right away.
FIX: turn off any GX lights in settings and close the browser and open it back up and boom. For me this instantly fixed the slow loading of the initial opening of the browser. I tried uninstalling the browser and restarting PC first but that did nothing. Tried this after honestly not thinking it would do anything but here we are. Chrome will always still be there though just in case
