Tried all of this .. nothing worked .. only thing that worked was to "unpin" all tabs.
And then the mute button started working on all windows just fine.

Fixed my Mute Tab Problem ! With no pinned tabs it working again

@voswouter87 ( Yeap The PIN TABS Is what fixed my mute button ! )
I unpinned the 4 tabs I had "pinned" and the mute started working immediately.
No reboot or anything .. thanks for the tip!
