For a long time I regularly muted tabs, however, recently all of a sudden this has stopped working.
I specifically enabled the option "Tab audio muting UI control" from default in opera://flags.
Is there a known bug? Or another way to enable this?

@gekamon That's really generic website feature advice, this is a browser issue. And the problem only occurred right after an Opera update without me changing anything to my browser settings. This feature also still works just fine in Firefox.

Yes, and I never checked it before, so I only checked it when this problem occurred.

Yea, why don't I delete the usability features of my browser? No thanks. I opened Youtube in an incognito window where the feature does indeed work.

I don't care about the tab group thing, but the dodgy mute button is really annoying. The tab will show a volume icon that can be used to mute the tab. But when you try to press it, it dodges out of the way for the x, which closes the tab. So now we'll have tons of accidental tab closes... Why make the inferface like this? Very annoying.

As discussed muting tabs no longer works while having a pinned tab. Please restore this function.

@sternix Thanks, I may have found the setting as "Enable Workspaces" and I included a screenshot of the location (check the scrollbar). However, this hasn't affected the tab mute behavior. I also don't have a right mouse button click menu. I rebooted Opera. Maybe I have to also reboot Windows? Will be doing that later.
