Sadly, the automatic hide and show function for the sidebar is not adjusted properly. It would be better to only make the hidden sidebar appear again when moving to the border. Currently, the sidebar already appears when you mouse over the right edge of the hidden sidebar (where the sidebar is shown when not hidden). This is especially a problem when you try to activate the chrome cast function in a video player. In this case, you mostly accidently open one of the menus of the sidebar instead of the chrome cast menu.

Automatic video pop-up is great. Will this also be available in the future for more video platforms or even all html5 video players?

a small but missing feature for me is having the address bar also in fullscreen mode (f11). I didn't find a way to do anything in a new tab if you prefer deactivating the speed dial and the search field. Did I miss some option? Is it possible to add the address bar to the fullscreen mode in a future version of Opera?

endless loading when having https://go.guidants.com/ opened. You need to reload this and subpages manually. Otherwise, when starting Opera, the CPU temperature goes up for around 10 °C on my Laptop (Win10x64).

Chromecast is working again Thanks, no more Edge needed

sadly, Chromecast stopped working. Have to use edge from now on when Chromecast is needed :|

seems to be my fault regarding comparison to Edge: at the moment, I have to restart my PC, and then it always works also without the old Chromecast app (last update from 2015). As security issues will surely exist in the Chromecast app using this program is also no real option.
So, is there any need for this outdated and insecure Chromecast app when trying to cast via Opera?

@leocg sadly, they only offer installer for iOS, Android, Win, macOS, Linux. Cannot find any web version. So, we have to wait for Signal devs. As they plan to improve usability in order to increase the number of active users, we might be lucky and see Signal inside Opera someday

Would be great to see Signal Messenger and probably Threema in the future next to WhatsApp, Facebook, and Telegram. Just installed the Desktop version of Signal after removing Telegram on PC and Phone. Secure messaging will be more important and asked for more often for sure

1. Chromecast is really buggy at the moment. BTW does Opera need the old Chromecast up (outdated since around 2015)?

2. When you open Opera the selected tab is always in standard background color (the one you get when no wallpaper is selected). You are in addition not able to use shortcuts like f5 for reloading. You need to use the mouse for a reload. After reloading via mouse, everything fine :|
