I have no interest in gaming. But I have downloaded the Opera GX website. I assumed is is part of the normal Opera browser to download.

Before reading it's for gamers.

When I try to uninstall it, the message comes up do you want to uninstall Opera? The answer is no. I just want to uninstall Opera GX. Not uninstall Opera the general browser. Should I press "Yes" when that question is asked again?

@leocg Yes, I can see some now that didn't appear before. Question. Can I transfer them from the Bookmarks folder to the Speed Dial area?

@leocg I found a Speed dial folder. But it's full of new links I did yesterday and today. There's no sign of the Speed Dial bookmarks that were there before the resetting procedure.

@ukthesis I looked in the Bookmarkers folder on the left hand side of Opera, and I don't see a Bookmark Manager there. Or anywhere else on the left side when I scroll down. There are lots of bookmarks in the Bookmarks folders, but nothing specifically Speed Dial. BTW - I checked the delete folder and they are not in there by accident.

@leocg Can you tell me where it is? Where on the Opera website this folder is. I can see bookmarks section but clearly, that isn't the one.

@leoc Some of the websites on the speed dial were up there in bookmarks as well. Some of them are up among the general boomarks but they were probably there before I started to use the speed dial system.

What happened was when I came back first to Opera, after the reset, the speed dial was fine. They were all up there. I went off it to do something else. When I returned, they were all gone! And have not returned.

I am trying to recover some speed dial bookmarks which seems to have disappeared. I had to reset the PC. After I reset it, I loaded Opera again. Signed in. Then, the range of Speed Dial bookmarks I had before came up, nicely. But a little while later, as I was fiddling about reinstalling other apps, that screen disappeared. And with it, all the speed dial bookmarks! Tried signing out and in again, even doing a quick reinstal of Opera, but to no effect.

I do have Google Chrome also. So without installing an extension. I think I now have this extension capability now (from today). But I'm at a loss to know what is happening next, or what I should do next. When I was doing this sync function added, Opera did not ask me anything about my other browser, Chrome, or ask me anything about sending my Opera bookmarks to Chrome. I don't see how it can automatically copy bookmarks from Opera to Chrome without something else happening.

I signed in. But I still don't understand which settings to press.

I got this synchronisation information, but it does not seem to cover the case where I want to export the bookmarks to another computer also using Opera as the browser:

How do I export to another computer bookmarks I saved? By the way, I have two computers, both Windows. And the bookmarks I save on one of them using Opera does not save on the other computer when I am also using Opera. So I have two sets of bookmarks when using the Opera browser, one for each of the two computers I am using Opera with.
