"new tab next to current" rephrased

old feature still missing 22 versions later

z, x, numbers, numpad shortcuts, and other single key shortcuts are active even when typing in text in a text box. not sure if this only happens on facebook but it is enough. it might be worth mentioning that this also happens when typing in bulgarian with cyrillic characters for the same shortcut keys.

it is actually one of the reasons for me to keep using the old versions which load very slowly on heavier sites compared to the new opera versions

and the plug-ins for this aren't very useful since they focus on the page being refreshed aside from doing it in the background, sorry for double posting but i can't edit

hello, out of the long list of features from the old opera versions not yet embedded into the new platform, automatic reloading was one of the most useful ones. i would suggest for this to be redone.

i can see it as they share much of the look and feel of the other browsers. is there a future for redevelopment of some of the old useful features? is there a request or suggestions forum?

i realized that the gestures and one-key shortcuts still existed but only need to be activated. got over the content blocker removal since adblock usually covers it all. what happened to the F4 sidebar? where you could add whatever window you want, including news tickers, downloads window, etc. is there a list to the unique opera features that were removed? any of this listed in the what's new/changes opera pages?

i was using 12.16 (12.17) till recently when i got tired of the major lags at times (facebook was impossible to use so i used the mobile version most often) and i didnt want to upgrade since i was surprised how many good features were removed but the other popular browsers don't really match up to opera
