perb: right-click doesn't work on javascript links. The only one that works is middle click like I was saying.

I am looking for that option too. All of the options above don't work except the middle-click. Keep in mind that JAVASCRIPT links don't work if you right-click and select open in new tab.

The only way I got it to work is with the middle-click.

Javascript links don't open when right-click and select new tab.

I tried an extension for chrome, but it wouldn't work properly. It was called ONE WINDOW i think.

middle click works. It opens in a new tab correctly. Is there a way to force middle click for all pop ups?

I barely use it anymore. I am here now because my firefox is not working so I went back to opera to find out most of the functions i loved in opera 12 are now gone.

I was wondering if there is an option (like opera 12) to force new links that open in a new window into a new tab. I tried a few chrome extension, but it didn't work. (called one window).

I looked on the extension page on opera.com, but still nothing. Funny because the older version of opera use to to that and I loved this little thing.

I'm asking because my work's website (intranet) uses a lot of that and it makes my computer all messy. I can't right-click either because it's some sort of javascript thingy. So I'm stuck.

Well said. The guy is like some over-defensive fanboy getting angry when people criticise his beloved company. I'm looking around for an alternative to Opera as, like many long-time Opera users, I think the new version is terrible, so I found the OP's post useful.
