You can add the Chromium Wheel Smooth Scroller extension in the Chrome Web Store. It works great. Just have to tinker with it to get it just right but it is worth it.

RE: Customize Opera Speed DialSuggestions and feature requests
A simple option to edit the dial images such as right click edit dial image would be great. Having to hover the mouse over the dial image to find the title is not exactly ideal. BTW I am using 25 Beta.

RE: Customize Opera controls, buttons and toolbars.Suggestions and feature requests
You can drag downloads and history to the bookmarks bar, but I do agree it would be nice to at least be able to move the extension buttons. I also would like someone to add an extension for a dedicated search bar like Firefox has because the omnibar is just a waste of space. I like to put extension buttons between the address bar and the search bar but you can't do hardly any customization in Opera.

Temporary Fix for Netflix 25 BetaFuture releases
Netflix will not play in 25 beta because it is missing the Wildvine Content Decryption module. You need to uncheck prefer HTML5 player instead of Silverlight in your Netflix account under playback settings. If you also use Google Chrome that will also enable Silverlight in Chrome too. If you want to keep the HTML5 player in Chrome then DO NOT UNCHECK prefer HTML5 player in Netflix. Instead in Opera install User-Account Switcher extension in Opera https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/user-agent-switcher/?display=en and when you use Netflix in Opera click that extension button and select Firefox>Windows and Netflix will use Silverlight in Opera and HTML5 in Chrome.

RE: What is wrong with Opera?Opera for Windows
Internet Explorer: Tools>Reopen last browsing session
Firefox: History>Restore previous session
Chrome: Recent tabs>4 tabs or what ever your # of tabs were
Opera: Recently Closed is always empty when you open OperaI am not trying to be rude. I really loved using Opera over the years but now it is just changing so much that it is not even Opera anymore. You say you can import bookmarks but you can not at least not from another browser and that is the first thing a new user does is import their bookmarks. I really want to use Opera but it is going in the wrong direction. People want to be able to customize their browser to fit their needs. Customization is what made Opera great but that is gone. If Opera is going to be successful then it should have built in basic features that a new user doesn't have to go searching through forums to find.

RE: What is wrong with Opera?Opera for Windows
Wow, I have used Opera for years but this is the last straw. Offering workarounds to features that should be basic browser functions is so lame. A new user of Opera is not going to waste their time with this silly browser. I will just uninstall Opera and stick to Firefox and Chrome at least they both have basic browser functions and don't criticize their users for pointing out obvious flaws with their browser. Opera used to be a great browser now it's just a mess and the developers don't want to hear complaints so they just bash their users. You will not get very far with your attitude and your browser is going to be an epic failure. Good luck. Maybe I will try Opera in a year or two but right now it is not worth my time.

RE: What is wrong with Opera?Opera for Windows
I don't want to continue where I left off every time! I should not have to make a special speed dial folder that is the stupidest thing I"ve ever heard of. Every browser out there has restore tabs or restore session. If you want people to use this browser at least have BASIC browser functions.

RE: What is wrong with Opera?Opera for Windows
The problem with Opera is it does not have the most basic functions, like restore previous session, import bookmarks, no home page, speed dial does not let you change the dial image, you can't even move the extension buttons. The omnibar is what I hate about Chrome and now it is in Opera. If Opera doesn't care about their longtime users (like me) and is going for new users then they are going to fail. I see no reason for anyone to even use this browser without even the most basic functions. New users are going to just go back to their old browser and longtime users are going to give up on Opera.

RE: Opera next 25 beta problems ?Opera for Windows
Another problem with 25 beta is the huge amount of wasted space above the tabs and the + button on the bookmarks bar is just taking up space. Instead of the + button there should just be a right click option.

RE: Get Rid of the OmnibarSuggestions and feature requests
That is not what I am saying. With a search box the search text stays in the search box and if you need to search with a different search engine you just use the drop down menu instead of having to type everything over. Opera is really going downhill fast. Since Opera 12 Opera has become a complete joke. Nobody cares about speed dial, stash or discover. People want a browser that is fast and customizable with lots of extensions. To me Opera is telling their fans that either use the browser the way it is or don't use it at all. People do not like to be told to do it your way or hit the highway. I can see Opera will probably lose a lot of fans and new users of Opera are just going to uninstall it and move on. Quit removing the things that made Opera my favorite browser.

Get Rid of the OmnibarSuggestions and feature requests
Firefox has done it right with the search bar. You can change your search engine via drop down menu in the search bar. The Omnibar is just a Chrome clone and I hate Chrome. It seems all the things that were so great with Opera in the past are now gone. Opera used to be my favorite browser because you could customize it to your liking now it's just another Chrome with no customization at all.
