@sgunhouse Because I didn't have access to the Opera browser on my original device, when I logged into my account on the new device, it asked me for a passphrase in the bookmark sync section, and I didn't have it, so I reset it. After resetting the passphrase, all bookmarks were deleted. Now the problem is how to restore them.
I’m reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a desperate hope. My bookmarks and passwords, collected over years of memories, work, and passion, are gone after I reset my sync passphrase. I didn’t realize this would erase everything, and now I feel like I’ve lost a piece of my life. My original device is no longer accessible, and when I saw them briefly in Chrome before installing Opera on my new device, it gave me hope—only for it to slip away again after the reset.
These aren’t just links to me—they’re my research, my favorite stories, my late-night discoveries, and little pieces of who I am. I know I made a mistake with the passphrase, but I’m begging you, if there’s any chance, any backup, any trace of my data still on your servers, please help me bring them back. Even an older version from before the reset would mean the world to me—maybe from a few days or weeks ago?
