I am running Opera 53.0.2569.141117 on a Note 4, with Android 6.01. I just noticed the other day, for the first time ever, Opera telling there is an update available. I have Google set to "not" check for updates on the play store. And, this isnt a notification from Google, its all Opera.... showing up in the main menu.... "Update Available: Tap to install". I see no option in Opera setting, to turn this off. The only thing I see is ""Opera Notifications", which I have turned off. Am I missing something, or is Opera now phoning home on its own, without my permission/knowledge?

RE: [Solved]Bookmarks problem in Opera 67Opera for Linux
Downgraded to 66.0.3515.72, so I could have functioning scrolling, in my bookmarks. BUT, downgrading, of course, broke my video..... which is WHY I was eager to update to 67.0.3575.31 in the first place. This crap of breaking features in the browser every time they update, forcing the user to have to decide WHICH feature is more important to them, and therefore having to decide which version to run.... is ridiculous! Having something so screwed up like bookmarks that wont scroll, yet making up wait till the next release is ready (to break something else) to fix it.... is inexcusable!

RE: Bookmark list won't scrollOpera for Windows
Having the same problem on Mint 18.3/Opera 67.0.3575.31. Certain, not all, folders/sub-folders have lost the ability to scroll. No arrows, scroll bar... nothing. While other folder/sub-folders are fine.
Edit: This non-scrolling issue only happens when trying to access said folders from the bookmarks bar. If I try to access those same folder via the menu/bookmarks option.... they scroll just fine

RE: Sync deleted 90% of my BookmarksSynchronization
Forgot to add: The last straw was when I opened Opera, and found all but 1 of my extensions were gone..... vanished. I went to one of my other computers that was set to sync the same things, hoping it still had all the extensions on it. They were gone from that system also. I wasnt about to go through the process of downloading all my extensions again, and get them all set up. Like I said, tired of fixing Opera every time an update breaks something. Went back to Firefox instead, and have had no issues.

RE: Sync deleted 90% of my BookmarksSynchronization
@jamesisin I gave up on Opera, and went back to Firefox. I got tired of them breaking Opera, every time they released an update. A couple updates ago, instead of updating the current version, it removed the current version, and installed a new version in a different location. It took me forever to find out what happened. I removed the bad install, installed again to correct location.... but then Sync wouldnt work for anything other than bookmarks. It wouldnt Sync settings, Speed Dials.... nothing else. Then, as I mentioned, I found out I had been signed out of Sync..... for how long this had been going on, I not sure. I just got tired of having to fix things they screw up. Its always excuse after excuse.

RE: Sync deleted 90% of my BookmarksSynchronization
While my bookmarks havent been deleted, I did notice yesterday that all of my machines were logged out of sync. Im wondering if this was yet another byproduct of an update?
