Hello there!
It has come to our consistent notice that in-built Ad-Blocker is not proving effective against blocking Ads served by Google & similarly, it is not providing sufficient safeguards against Privacy-related incursions such as -- snooping by Trackers..etc.
Therefore, if for some reason there does exist a "Whitelist" for Ads hidden from Users, allow us to "Customize" our preferences by hosting a suitable option to serve the purpose. I would like to eradicate the "Whitelist"(if there exists one!)
Lastly, inbuilt Ad-blocker must be enriched further to serve a --"One Stop solution" to cater to all Privacy related requirements as well!
Why should one still be making use of Miscellaneous extensions such as----Disconnect, Ghostery..etc. to fortify the Privacy front?
Come up with advanced filtering rules to establish your In-built Ad-blocker as a "One Stop Solution" for all!
Thank you.
Hello l33t4opera!
Thanks for a prompt response.
Your quote - " Yes, the new Opera is based on the Chromium source, and the Blink rendering engine used by Chromium."
Therefore, Please reason out that why the extensions of Google Chrome store cannot be made to install within Opera without undergoing any hassles?
If the core is same, what really then goes different with Opera that extensions (or Add-ons in general) applicable for Chrome report incompatible with Opera?
Yours patience & response will be sincerely appreciated.
Thank you.
Hello l33t4opera!
Which of the 2 is better as per your Opinion or experience? Which of the 2 has minimum memory footprint or lesser compatibility issues?
& Iam very much eager to know that since when has Opera deassociated itself from accepting Chrome Store Add-ons? I clearly remember that there came a phase when extensions from Google Chrome Web store were indeed getting installed within Opera without even an iota of trouble!
Isn't the Latest version of Opera based on Blink...the very same engine which powers Google chrome?
& Lastly, haven't the developers across Opera thought anything yet about coming up with an equivalent "Transliteration" scheme?
How about an Idea to rather "integrate" the Transliteration capability within any of the forthcoming release of Opera?
& Friends, how credible is this Hyperlink:-
http://www.opera-usb.com/download.htm
& lastly, Why is there a difference of Version than to the one which goes currently valid for the Main Installer?
Didn't Opera upgrade the USB variant driven Portable version to Latest release...to something like---36.0.X.?
Hello Folks!
Iam awaiting an Answer towards the above posted Query still! Please pitch-in your Inputs.
Is there a way to install Extensions within Opera from Google Chrome store?
Does there exist an equivalent Transliteration extension meant for Indic Languages similar to--- GLIT (Google Language Input Tools)?
Response is keenly awaited.....
Thank you.
Hello all!
But what about the Portable versions of Opera Web Browser getting offered through the prominent Software download sites such as---Softpedia, Download.com & alike?
Should one exercise a caution before giving a 'Go Ahead' to these?
Hello Folks!
There was a time when Extensions from -- Chrome Store were getting installed easily within Opera Web Browser as well. But since last few Upgrades....Opera has turned reluctant to host any of the Google Chrome's extensions, & insist Users to install only the ones hosted within Opera Add-ons store !
Therefore, Users from SE Asia are missing out dearly on a prominent Transliteration extension such as---Google Language Input Tools (GLIT).
Why don't you contemplate over coming up with a propriety Transliteration extension for Opera Users as well? What is the reliable alternative to GLIT for Opera Web Browser users?
Please suggest further in this regard.
Thanks.
Hello Folks!
Iam eager to make a transition to the "Portable" version of Opera, but couldn't find any reference on your Official Homepage about the same.
Please help me fetch a reliable Web Link to retrieve the Latest "Portable Version" of Opera Web Browser for my Win8 Desktop PC.
Help in this regard will be sincerely appreciated.
Last query---Does the Main installer offer an option to install Opera as a "Portable" version? I perceive a .zip package containing an .exe file as the only genuine Portable version.
Yours Inputs & suggestions please.....
Thank you.
Hello Guys! Sorry for the delayed response. Iam on Windows 8 & Desktop Version of Opera goes as 34.0.2036.25.
To rif:-
Hello, Please note that the quoted Hyperlink hosts a Web page which contain both Horizontal & Verticals Scrolls. Therefore, kindly make sure that the .pdf Output you were able to fetch by PDFCreator does really contain the entire length & breadth of the source page..!?
Inputs will be sincerely appreciated. Thank you.
Hello There!
Please refer to the following URL & help suggest a method to convert the resultant output as a .pdf print. The Inherent feature to 'Save the Webpage' as .pdf under Print is not working adequately for the following URL::

Help in this regard will be sincerely appreciated.
Thank you.
Respected Folks!
Please "Wake up" from the slumber state, & help furnish a Latest Update in the relevant context. Native Language Fonts are still able to render only a spree of Square Boxes in place of the Indic Language scripts. In spite of Updating the Browser to its very latest release this Morning, Encoding of Western (ISO-8859-1) is still not getting evident in the list of applicable options for Encoding a Web page!?
Nevertheless, Please Update....
Hello Guys! I would like to Update that though the Opera Desktop version has been Updated to its latest release today in the very Morning, the issue with the proper rendering of the Indic Language Scripts still persists! Iam only able to see SQUARE BOXES in place of actual Hindi fonts on the applicable Web pages! I tried to notify you Guys that it probably is because of an ABSENCE of Encoding format>>>Western (ISO-8859-1). Therefore, could you please help suggest the Developer Team to encompass the aforesaid Encoding method to avoid such an Inconvenience for your Users based in SE Asia region? Thank you.
Hello sgunhouse!
It would be great on your part if you can please channelize my search for a Localized version of Opera, in Hindi language Interface. Thank you.
Hello Joshl!
Yes, Why not? Does that mean that Opera based on Chromium Source Code do have Localized Versions on offer? If Yes, Please guide me to the respective link. Thank you.
Just to Update you Guys, that I would rather like to have a Hindi language Interface based Opera Web Browser on my PC. Hindi Language is also sometimes interpreted with the nomenclature of Devanagari Scripts. So, if the Native Language Browser is available, do inform me at the earliest.
Cooperation will be sincerely appreciated. Thank you.
Hello Folks!
Mozilla Community members helped me download the latest Native Language Interface based Firefox Web Browser. I was wondering that whether there also exist a Native language versions for the Opera Web Browser as well?
If Yes, Please guide me to the respective link in order to try that out ASAP.
Thank you.
Hello Folks! The rest of the Web Browsers on my machine which are able to successfully portray Indic scripts on the Web pages are also successfully able to portray the Encoding Value set to --- Western (ISO-8859-1). I wonder, why doesn't Opera have any such option amongst the list of Encoding options? Please Guide further in this context. Help will be sincerely appreciated. Thank you.
Hello leocg, I would like to quote that all the Fonts when made to set similar to the ones showing up under Google Chrome, the problem persists still! Although, Google Chrome were showing up Encoding as Western (ISO-8859-1), Opera do not lists the same exactly, but the nearest entry corresponding to the already listed goes as Western (ISO-8859-15)!
Please guide further. Please suggest on Why even an Uninstallation & Re-installation couldn't fix the problem still?
