Tab islands may be useful for some, but many miss other important features.
Thus, instead of adding new things which only few may have missed before, please add a master password and allow tabs to be right above the contents (i.e. below the address and search bars)
I like opera for some of its features, but I don't make it my default browser because it doesn't support a separate password for sensitive login data and because it doesn't allow to have the tab directly above the content.
Tab and content window have the most close relation, and it is a nuisance that modern browser keep them apart just because some programmers' logic votes for it.
A master password is good to specially protect sensitive data.
My PC in general is set to auto-login because most stuff on it is NOT sensitive.
But web login data for bank accounts, shops and the like are sensitive and must be protected more securely.

RE: General Opera Feedback TopicOpera for computers
Many people have IoT or other web servers in their home network, which are mostly not accessible from the internet.
These servers usually have no certificate, and it shouldn't be strictly considered insecure if a device on the same local network isn't talking https.
The warning that these servers are insecure bedazzles the inexperienced user, and the text should be adapted to clarify the situation. -
RE: open bookmarks in new tabSuggestions and feature requests
Thanks a lot for the hint.
Although I was looking for a general setting to always open bookmarks in a new tab by default, I can live with this solution. -
RE: open bookmarks in new tabSuggestions and feature requests
@leocg I know how to do it on the desktop, but where is this option on opera mobile?

Missing indicator that there are more tabs to the right of the last tabSuggestions and feature requests
I always work with multiple tabs which I have configured to show on the top row so that I can slide to the left and to the right to select the tab.
I am missing an indicator that there are more tabs to the right or if I'm already at the last tab.

open bookmarks in new tabSuggestions and feature requests
It's a real nag that bookmarks always override the active tab.
if I forget to open a new tab before opening a bookmark I need to go into the cumbersome process of finding the tab in the history as there is no option to reopen the last closed tab.
