cannot log into ebay, captcha just keeps reappearingOpera for computers
I'm trying to dump Firefox at last and move permanently to Opera as my default browser. I've used it for many things in the past, and it all works great.
Tried to log into ebay for the first time and I got a captcha page.;
Slid the puzzle piece correctly, it says Verification Succeeded, but then recycles and says to do the verification again!
I've turned off the VPN, as well as another VPN, Windscribe, same results. I've cleared all history for all time, same problem.
Ebay says Opera isn't supported and washes their hands of the issue.
How can I fix this, did I have some setting changed or default that would be blocking the captcha from continuing? I could probably just use Firefox for ebay, but I'm afraid I'll come across another captcha that won't let me into a site down the road and have the same problem.
Is there a way to get Opera to be supported by ebay?
Windows 7 Pro, current Opera v 73.0.3856.344

@poorenglish said in How to disable annoying "Flash Player will no longer be supported after December 2020" bar popup?:
@leocg I installed opera usb portable for testing.
There was no flash message.
However, it is reappearing when I set the settings that suit me.
This seems to be a bug.
It seems to conflict with some options.chrome://settings/content/flash
Unlike Chrome, it is always fixed at "ask first".Unrelated.
Please start your own new topic.

how to diagnose opera vpn slowness?Opera for Windows
Opera's built in VPN used to be fine, but now, with it disabled, I get ping 15ms, and 24Mbps download via speedtest.net. With it enabled, regardless of whether I use optimal, or Americas (I'm in America), speed drops to 1.2 (not 12, 1.2)Mbps and a ping of 147! Essentially unusable.
How do I diagnose what the actual problem is? Or is Opera's VPN either overburdened, or having problems, or ???
Is there anything I can do/run to find out just why my speeds are cut by 20x?

RE: [Solved]How to disable annoying "Flash Player will no longer be supported after December 2020" bar popup?Opera for computers
@leocg Thanks for the reply, thought of that but I don't want flash disabled. I just want the nag bar to stop nagging.
I thought the "Turn Off" option would turn off the nag bar but clicking it doesn't seem to do anything.

Bummer. And there's no way to automate/bypass the default other than manually going to settings/websites?
Thanks.
