@illostraight Opera is the only browse I have used that asks for your password every time you open it. Safari, Firefox, Brave, Chrome and Arc don't!

@illostraight If it's the way it is, which is a pity, I'm staying with Brave. OK, I still have to use other browsers for certain things, but at least, as with Opera, I can watch YouTube without ruddy ads every five seconds.
I think it was a wrong thing to do when they ended Opera Mini. The joke is that Opera's AI still says to use it on Android and IOS phones lololol.

RE: General Opera One Feedback TopicGeneral
What are you doing Opera?
You seem to be, at the moment, the one browser that has “ads” on YouTube, stating all it’s great features etc. Now I ask you, is this a case of many things with “ads” on YouTube etc, blowing a trumpet but when it comes down to the niting gritty, it’s got gremlins and not all that great.
Try to import passwords (csv)!
Try syncing!
Try saving login details!
And shall we forget using it on our iPhones!?!I’ve been using Brave for ages and in reality, unless Opera can really sort these things out, I truly can’t see any reason to switch which is a pity.
Opera, get your act together!

I too am having the same problem on my M1 MacBook Air. After closing down Opera, I need to re-enter all login passwords.
Another thing, I tried importing the password csv file of my passwords and nothing happens!
