I have a Mac Studio and want to save passwords in opera. Even when I enter them manually, they don't save. Suggestions?

I too am having the same problem on my M1 MacBook Air. After closing down Opera, I need to re-enter all login passwords.
Another thing, I tried importing the password csv file of my passwords and nothing happens! -

@rosa-leeke I finally gave in and went to firefox. When I found out that the Chinese were invested in Opera, it was easier to make the switch. Now there's no problem.

@illostraight If it's the way it is, which is a pity, I'm staying with Brave. OK, I still have to use other browsers for certain things, but at least, as with Opera, I can watch YouTube without ruddy ads every five seconds.
I think it was a wrong thing to do when they ended Opera Mini. The joke is that Opera's AI still says to use it on Android and IOS phones lololol.

@rosa-leeke I use brave, too. And I don't have, (or want), a phone, just a desktop so all web. We have to do what we have to do. I'm just thrilled the password madness is over.

@illostraight Opera is the only browse I have used that asks for your password every time you open it. Safari, Firefox, Brave, Chrome and Arc don't!
