Android 13, Opera 76.2, Samsung Galaxy Tablet

Not sure if this is a bug or a feature that's just not available everywhere, but I'd like to easily go from viewing the Booking.com website in Opera to opening the Booking app that's on my phone. When I click links in emails, they take me to the webpage in my default browser, Opera. I'd then like to go directly from that webpage to open the Booking app.

The Always open page in External App option is present when I click on site settings for the Booking URL when it's open in Opera, but it is greyed out and I can change the setting. I assume that if I can change the setting, then there'd be a menu option or button somewhere to go directly from that webpage to the app.

Note, page sharing options in Opera don't allow me to share the page to Booking app.

I have to use Chrome on my tablet because of the lack of keyboard shortcuts in Opera browser on the phone. I often am scrolling for hours on my tablet, switching back and forth between tabs and/or entering complex equations in tiny Google Sheets cells. Using my finger for everything and positioning my tablet within right arm's reach is inaccurate, error prone and physically taxing.

A few basic keyboard shortcuts would improve things mightily for me. Opera is so good for shortcuts in the desktop/laptop browser, where I've been using Opera since 2002. When are we going to get keyboard shortcuts on Android?

Here are some features that I have used that I am unable to easily figure out how to do in Opera 22.

1. I want to open an html or PDF file on my hard drive. I do not see a simple file open dialog anywhere. If I type C: in my address bar I get to the C: drive and I can browse down to the file I want. This is not too transparent and takes longer than a dialog for this purpose, particularly one that remembers that last directory location you used.

2. In previous versions of Opera, on an open file you could do a "view page source" and then edit and save that file directly in opera. I used this function quite often. I don't see any buttons to do this after viewing page source.

3. In previous versions you could easily customize the location of featuers and toolbars such as having the address bar at the bottom and having toolbars show text instead of images. I had been using that feature for 12 years and I don't see it anymore.

4. You could customize Speed Dial to show however many columns and rows you want and customize the size of the buttons. Now it seems opera controls this and I don't have the buttons the size I want. Sometimes they are quite tiny.

5. I can't remove Google search from the Speed Dial.

6. I don't see any manage bookmarks functionality. I believe there probably is some replacement like the stash. Maybe it'll be as easy to use but I don't know. I have 100's of bookmarks that I've easily managed the old way and I expect it'll be a significant amount of work to move them to the new system. I doubt it'll improve things too much because it was always pretty quick to do stuff the old way.

I've only been using Opera 22 for two days. This is a start but I'm sure there's more. I'm glad they still have single key shortcuts though they've named it something different in settings.

I appreciate that Opera maintained advanced capabilities for 12 years and resisted changing the browser with every release to meet each passing fad or trend. Based on this I hope they will get these things right. At minimum there needs to be a transition guide detailing each feature they had and what they did with it, plan to do with it or what they are going to drop.
