RE: Local network addresses not shown any moreOpera for Windows
No, you shouldn't havet o mess with any network/ip settings. It shouldn't be having issues with local or remote IPs, period. That's a basic basic browser issue that I can't believe has been overlooked.

has ANYONE taken a look at this? Please. It's making this browser a no-go for network admins.
I even tried it on a machine with opera STABLE non-dev main and it was a fresh windows 8.1 install and the same issue. No IP address based saving!

..yeah what ones? IE, firefox, and chrome can.
..and yes there is a need to shout. Lots of people have to get the dev version or get extensions and it's annoying. It's like buying a house and not getting to be able to get running water!

You shouldn't need an EXTENSIION for something THAT SHOULD BE BUILT IN AND IS BUILT IN EVERY OTHER BROWSER!

I use it due to the fact the main version won't let you import bookmarks! Why did they leave this critical browser feature out?

Opera 29/Windows 8 This is the first time I've had Opera on this computer
Firefox and IE are fine. They both save from IP addresses.

CRITICAL! can't save anything on local or remote IP addressesFuture releases
I can't use opera to download the backup files for my xirrus arrays or aruba networks access points. I also can't save PRTG graphs either. I also can't download anything from websites access by Ip addresses.
For a Xirrus array:
- I type in an IP address to access the wireless access point's config
- I go to the tools>system tools>Download Current Configuration: xs_current.conf
- I right click and "save linked content as" and nothing happens.
It does the same thing for Aruba Networks access points as well as my PRTG network monitor's web interface. i right click to save a graph and nothing happens.
This has made the browser worthless for network management. Please fix this!
