RE: Why Opera Sync page shows that I have 0 history?Synchronization
It is syncing. If I log out or uninstall then reinstall and/or log in back, the history is restored.

Deleting the entries of a certain website in history doesn't workSynchronization
On mobile, if I delete all the entries of a certain website, after uninstalling and reinstalling the browser, and logging back to sync, the entries that were deleted are back in history.
Same thing also on desktop. They are deleted until I log in back to my Opera account and start sync.
Any fix?

Great, finally time for a new release!
I notice there is also a new installer design but it looks flawed, especially on the dropdown menus:

Why Opera Sync page shows that I have 0 history?Synchronization
If I go to my Opera sync account it shows that I have 0 history, although I do have history. Why does this happen? If I click that, nothing appears.

RE: Opera 120.0.5543.201 Stable updateBlogs
Noticed some visual bugs on the easy setup menu:
On the right there is a very thin strip from the background that's not covered by the menu.

RE: Opera 121.0.5600.20 beta updateBlogs
Alright, come with the announcement as soon as you can, because people are starting to get very confused.
Even if it is to support only 4 MV2 addons like Brave does it's still a lot compared to nothing.

RE: Concern About Manifest V3 Migration With Pending UpdatesOpera add-ons
Honestly, I understand. MV2 support would have been indeed costly because that would mean to repatch Chromium everytime. So waste of time, I get it, even Brave said they will try doing supporting MV2 as best as they can.
But at the same time, since Opera comes with an adblocker, in my opinion, they should improve it massively and even be able to use uBO's filters, like Brave does. The only MV2 addon I did care about was actually uBO, but Opera can try doing Brave's scheme, after all. uBO is gone from Opera, ok, it's gone, but that doesn't mean they should let their normal adblocker like that, and to be honest, just my opinion, the adblocker from Opera is bad.

@DerSchlingel Vivaldi is 100x times worse, their sync is just a joke.

RE: Concern About Manifest V3 Migration With Pending UpdatesOpera add-ons
When I switched to Opera it was mainly because of MV2 support, but now that it looks the opposite, I consider moving again and this time to Firefox.

RE: Concern About Manifest V3 Migration With Pending UpdatesOpera add-ons
In my opinion, I think it was much better not to post that announcement regarding the "plans" for MV2 support back then, I think it was a lot better to post them maybe this period, as MV2 was removed from Chrome

RE: Concern About Manifest V3 Migration With Pending UpdatesOpera add-ons
I knew that one.
So they seem to have canceled those plans. At least they should improve the adblock filters massively or even use the ones uBO offers. -
RE: Concern About Manifest V3 Migration With Pending UpdatesOpera add-ons
@leocg but they made an article and even posted on X using their GX account that they will "keep supporting MV2 no matter what happens in other browsers"
Now those emails seem to confirm the opposite, so at least it was a lot better if they didn't make these announcements..

RE: Concern About Manifest V3 Migration With Pending UpdatesOpera add-ons
So I guess Opera is not holding their promise of keeping MV2 addons anymore.

Can you send the email's contents? I've seen another similar complaint recently. Seems Opera is breaking their promise regarding MV2 support?
Anyway, send it if you can.

RE: Opera 121.0.5600.20 beta updateBlogs
Question: since Chromium is now at version 139 and MV2 support stopped, when another announcement regarding Opera's MV2 support will appear? Opera is currently behind this version.
