We will look into fitting more speed dials on the same page
Perfect! You can try to find more space for them on the page or shrink/make the SD lesser to fit more on one page. Or a combination of both.

@jonaballen
Hi, thanks for the solution been introduced in v5.0.6. It helps to skip pages quickly.
@jonaballen
Partially yes but folders can create clutter when you have many speed dials and/or folders and it doesn't eliminate the need to scroll page by page. OK you wouldn't need that many pages but there would still be some.
So folder support is a good option but some sort of quick page skip option would be useful. OK I understand that my original suggestion would require more space, but how about making it so that the bottom right below the last row of speed dials would have active little symbols ≪ ≺ ≻ ≫, for instance.
@jonaballen
I have a suggestion for you. I have more than 70 speed dials, so I have them on more than 6 pages. Swiping back through each page to get to the first page is pretty silly and tedious. So please incorporate a quick skip option something like it is in native iOS (swipe over the dots at the bottom of the page to quickly get to the first, second and so on page).
Thanks!
@jonaballen
Yeah, it would be wise to somehow indicate it and lead users to swipe to the right. Thanks!
@jonaballen
Thank you for the explanation. I wouldn't have thought to swipe to the right when it's so easy. My bad. I fully understand the reasons for changing the presence of speed dials.
Only 12 speed dials are showed on the main page. In the previous builds v4 all speed dials were shown. Now you have to click on menu, then bookmarks and then speed dials to get speed dials from 13 onwards. It’s very annoying. Please return that all speed dials are shown.
Yeah, I know what you're talking about.
As far as I'm concerned, I try to only post important bugs or wishes. Well, actually I only have one and that is the full sync feature for Opera iOS/iPadOS. I've been using Opera since the good old Presto days. Actually, I have it on all Win & Apple devices and the lack of full sync on iOS is really giving me problems. So hopefully one day I'll be gifted by Opera devs.
You're welcome! I just wish there is more interaction with Opera devs on this forum.
The bug has been fixed in the new version 4.6.1 of iOS/iPadOS.
Another way to permanently delete history and perhaps the most convenient is to leave at least one webpage open, then you can delete history in the Opera menu and close the open web page. After that the history remains cleared even after you clear Opera from the iPhone's cache.
Regardless, this is still a bug that the Opera devs need to address!!
Even the new version 4.6.0 of iOS/iPadOS Opera has not fixed this bug. It's an easily and fully reproducible bug, so it remains a mystery to me how Opera can ignore such an annoying bug.
@kane12
In the meantime, I discovered a more friendly way of deleting history.
If you have a long history and want to avoid deleting entry by entry do the following.
Go to the menu and select the option to clear history, then open any web page, go back to the history and delete this entry manually, i.e. swipe left and press the delete button. After that, the history will remain cleared even after you clear Opera from your iPhone's cache.
Unless full sync functionality (bookmarks, speed dials, passwords, etc.) is available, which is pretty standard these days, mobile Opera (iOS) is useless. Flow cannot replace it at all.
I don't understand how you can ignore this basic feature for so long. Do you ever listen to what users want?
@leocg
That's nice but the bugs need to be fixed by the devs. In such cases users can't help themselves.
What I really miss on this forum is the interaction of Opera staff. No one bothers to answer. The forum is run by Opera, so the lack of communication from Opera staff really sucks.

It worked for a couple of days, i.e. the speed dials were available at the Opera sync webpage on iOS. However as of yesterday the speed dials webpage is again blank.
This confirms that the issue is definitely on Opera's side, not on the browser installation side.
