Hello,
Recently I switched back to Opera. Very often I browse the internet using VPNs. I know for a fact that Firefox allows to simply fully disable webrtc in settings, however I would rather use one browser instead of 2.
The webrtc extensions for Opera does not seem to work well.
Few moments ago I went through SpyShelter log ( https://www.spyshelter.com if you are not familiar) to check something unrelated to webrtc and Opera and I noticed this entry:
2015-12-30 14:06:25,C:\Program Files (x86)\Opera\34.0.2036.25\opera.exe,53,Allowed ;Execution of an application ("C:\Program Files (x86)\Opera\34.0.2036.25\opera.exe" --type=renderer --alt-high-dpi-setting=96 --system-dpi-setting=96 --disable-direct-npapi-requests --disable-win32k-renderer-lockdown --lang=de --extension-process --enable-webrtc-hw-h264-encoding --disable)
There is a part that says --enable-webrtc-hw-h264-encoding.
I have not modified the startup commands, those are defaults.
Is there actually a way to disable webrtc by creating a properly modified shortcut? If so, what this command would look like?
Thanks a lot.
