@sailormax Hello, I don't have other settings in Opera or elsewhere in Chinese. This happens in all pages I select to Translate, I am sending some screens as example for a page in Italian and another in French.
Selection Translate with right-click in selected page:

@sailormax Hello, thanks for your reply. My default target language is English, and I have set the source language to Auto Detect. I generally use Google Translate. And when I have a page I would like to be translated, I right-click and select "Translate page", that opens a new tab with the translated page, but in chinese... even the toolbar of Google Translator in the upper part of the translated page shows those symbols. I have managed to get the translation in English, but the Google Translator tollbar is still in Chinese. I have noted that the address of the translated webpage ends with "/?_x_tr_sl=auto&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=zh-CN", while when I use Google Translator "outside" of this extension is "/?_x_tr_sl=auto&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=pto=wapp" and that way it works fine for me; I am not an expert in programming, so I hope that this info would help to find the problem. Last couple of weeks it started showing me Google translation bar in oriental symbols, apparently it is using a location by default. When I use Google Translator without this add on, it works fine, so most probable cause is a bug from this add-on. Hope that this could be solved asap, that's why my rating has been lowered to only 2 stars.

An Update: It seems I could solve the problem. I performed an Opera recovery, but keeping my data. So after a few changes to restore my previous settings, I tried to download a file from Google Drive and it succeeded. Hope that this may help others and the problem wont show up again.

@burnout426 Thanks for your suggestions. Sadly, it didn´t help to solve the problem. There was no site in the block list.
In my case, when you click the download button for individual files, you can see "Scanning for viruses..." and "Waiting for drive.google.com" messages and then nothing else happens.
And when I try to download the whole folder as a zip file, it works fine, but i need to download also individual files from a folder.

Hello, I noticed this week that I cannot download files from Google Drive, which I was doing until last week. It works fine in other browsers, so I assume it is an issue with Opera. I don´t remember changing any setting these last days, can anybody help me with this issue? Thanks in advance

Thats the task Scheduler for Windows, if you slide down the list, you may find an Opera Autoupdate task, if there are 2 of them, that could be the reason for the problem, you just have to select one of them and delete it. I deleted both of them and with the next update which I did manually, the task reappeared and all is working fine now. Hope that this helps, regards

I had this very annoying issue I suppose after I installed an extension that I no longer use... I tried reinstalling Opera, and deleting all the program folders, but after some days, it reappeared again. So I tried the sugestion of checking Windows Task Scheduler, and noticed it had 2 task for Opera Autoupdate, I took my chances and deleted all 2.. so now I had to manual Update to the last version and now I have another only 1 new task and it is working fine again...hope that it could be useful, regards

@germxnssj Hay preguntas similares en el foro en inglés, y yo tuve esta situacion hace pocos días, presumo que debido a una de las últimas actualizaciones algo se modificó que afectó su comportamiento. Personalmente, no guardo las contraseñas, pero no borro las cookies despues de cerrar el programa, pero de todos modos se me cerraba la sesión de algunas páginas. Aunque no sé cuál será la solución real, algunas de las cosas que hice fue restaurar la configuracion por defecto del programa (disculpa uso el programa en inglés por lo que no sé muy bien cual es el nombre real en español de cada setting) reconfigurarlo y fijarse bien en que esté guardando las contraseñas, y si están sincronizando tus datos, desloguéate y verifica si así funciona mejor, logueate de nuevo y verifica las configuraciones de borrado de password y de cookies. Al parecer en algun momento (sospecho con la actualizacion del programa) se activó el borrado de cookies y quedó configurado en mis settings del sync y eso me generó el problema... espero que se entienda y ayude en algo...saludos

@leocg Now I am not really sure what happened, maybe it was, but I always had selected not deleting cookies after closing Opera...anyway, after a lot of trials (logging out and in again, selecting everytime the preferences as I wanted to be), the settings were finally set as I always have them before the problem, and now it is working fine again...unfortunately I am not able to say which was the real solution for this problem, the only I could suggest is to try to reset settings to default, reconfigure the settings, and log out and log in to see if something changes...good luck with that.

Unfortunately, when I logged in for sync again, the problem is still there...so the option for deleting cookies after closing Opera was only part of the problem, but not the most important.

Hope that this could give you more hints to find a permanent solution.

@leocg I am logging in again, and apparently when I reinstalled Opera or maybe when I reset my settings to default, the delete cookies after closing Opera option was enabled, so apparently this fixed the problem...
What do you mean by don't recognize this account? > When I go to Opera Forums page, it usually offered to log in with your sync account but that was no longer the case, I still don´t know if this was solved.
I will post again only if the problem continues, thanks for your help.

@leocg Yes I always have, but since a last update, I have to log in for the forum, and it doesn´t even recognize this account, I have to type it again. It is a very unusual behavior with this browser, and apparently I am not the only one having this issues. I usually don't use the autofill option, but the auto sign-in, and this is the one that it is not working in my experience. I am changing to use the autofill passwords, but is not my preferred and first option.

Edit to a previous comment: So after a few times that my browser kept me looged in, now it is signing me out again, even from this forum, cannot recognize my account, I have to type it all over again.... so this is a problem of this last update I think, and hope that this could be solved in next versions, but my experience says that if something fails with the browser, we have to learn to live with it, I have sent some problem reports before and none of them have been solved...sad

It was happening the same for me after an update, I opted to reset to default settings, and apparently all came back to normal, but not only after I have to reconfigure a lot of options.... but it payed off, hope this could be useful.

I have just installed this extension and I like it very much so far, helps me reach bookmarks more easily, I would like to be added a search option and a select option for folders or bookmarks for deleting or moving, making easier to manage them. Thanks and regards!

This feature was suggested for OperaGX, but I am asking the same for Opera for Windows. Even IE has this option, and it saves a lot of time needed to go to the download directory every time to delete the files you only need to open for a short time. I usually open excel and word files just to check some info on them and then I don't need them anymore.

So the idea is to add the option of opening the file (with the appropiate application, not inside the browser) to the automatically download every-single-file we click on, and then we could choose what we want to do with the file.

Also I frequently download epub with DRM (.ascm files), and other browsers such as IE and Chrome allows to open them directly on Adobe Digital Editions, making the process soooo smooth and simple...please make our life easier!!!

I could not get to open any excel file on the browser, and also I could not set an User Defined File Type (.acsm) to open with Adobe Digital Editions. Maybe I am doing something wrong or missing something, but the extension is not very explanatory. They keep downloading and have to open the file once it is downloaded, which is very easy to set as open file in other browser, such as Chrome or even IE.

After a year using this app, I still can´t figure it out how the exact steps I have to do to get to sync speed dials between my android phone and my tablet. I created my account, and being looged on both devices, I only see old syncs of my other devices, sometimes devices appear more than once with different sync dates, and it is very difficult to get the current list of speed dials for each device. I log off and sign in many (too many) times until it finally "works"; but it is a real pain that this doesn´t work in a more straight forward way... or maybe I am missing a step or doing something wrong... please can somebody help me to understand how this feature really works?
